2003 Petite Sirah
This wine has a great plum color. In the nose is strong plum and tree fruit with a floral note as well. There is also a creamy chocolate orange aroma. The palate is sweet up front with a good coating of soft tannin and viscous alcohol. The finish leaves spicy licorice and roasted coffee beans in the back of the palate. This wine will leave you waiting for the prefect accompaniment of Prime Rib, roasted lamb or just sitting by the roaring fire while you enjoy the evening and a special box of chocolate.
