2001 Petite Sirah
This wine is a medium plum color, with intense cassis, cherry-vanilla and cocoa notes in the nose. On the palate the sweet cheery flavors are embraced by supple tannins, and finish with black pepper, dark chocolate and subtle oak notes. This wine pairs beautifully with roasted meats, rosemary spiced chicken or seared peppercorn crusted Ahi tuna with a soy-wasabi vinaigrette.
